The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien
I just can’t get over how happy I am that Conan moved to the 11:30 slot on NBC. There was no way I could stay up until 1:30 on a work night watching TV… but although it’s sort of a stretch, I can make it until 12:30 to watch. It’s so worth it.
Kerrie falls asleep a little after 11 so I try to keep my laughing as quiet as possible, but it’s been tough the past two nights… from Conan forgetting to move to LA, making it to his first Lakers game, showing us his new license photo vs. the old one, taking over the Universal Studios Tour tram and finally his shopping spree on Rodeo Rd. How can you not be laughing?
My plan at first wasn’t to post a clip, but I feel like I have to or else I’ll just keep trying to describe my favorite bits.
Conan At His First Lakers Game
The only thing that bugs me about the show is the awkwardness of Andy Richter’s fake laughter and mediocre jokes during the monologue. However, I do enjoy the fact that he feels the need to walk into the camera shot the moment Conan signs off at the end of the show.
I might not make it until 12:30 every night, but at least it’s easy to watch episodes I miss or fall asleep during.
