Hitting Rock Bottom

People always say that you can’t recover from being a drug addict until you hit the bottom first. Well of course you have to hit the bottom first. Eventually, a day will come that you will recover… and from that point on, the day before that will always be the day you hit rock bottom. It’s like when you’re looking all over the house for something and finally find it, and then announce that you can’t believe it was in the last place that you looked. Well, of course it was in the last place that you looked, you don’t want to be the asshole that’s still looking for something that you already found. So the place that the thing was, will forever be the last place you looked, and the day before you recover from drugs will always be the day you hit rock bottom.
